“For 10 years, Bosch And Bosch: The Legacy These have been two of our most defining series for Prime Video, Friv and Amazon MGM Studios. They are a testament to the enduring power of the storytelling world that Michael Connelly has created for fans. We are proud of the impact these series have had, and we are excited that Michael, Titus, Henrik and the creative team have even more interesting stories to tell Bosch the world with the final season of Bosch: The LegacyOur new Ballard series and much more to come.”

And Bosch Author Michael Connelly offers this suggestion:

“I'm so proud of what we've accomplished with this show. Ten years ago I asked Titus Welliver if he could stay with Harry Bosch for five seasons, and he said he could do that forever. Well, five seasons became ten, and thanks to Titus the character will live on forever in the hearts of viewers and in the streaming world as a detective who knows that either everyone matters or no one matters. The good news here is that we haven't seen the last of Harry Bosch. Just like in the books, Bosch is part of Renee Ballard's world, and I can't wait for the next chapter to unfold.”

Well, I didn't expect this news. I know Bosch It's been on for a decade if you count both shows, but I don't think so. I'm sorry to say that I don't read much; I love audiobooks but I can't find the time and discipline to read physical books, although I really do like having physical copies of things. Anyway, I only became interested in these shows a year or so ago when my husband started watching them Bosch Obsessively. I watched all of season 3 and beyond and loved it. Looking back, my favorites are seasons 2 and 7. They have great storylines, 2 has a great set of villains, and I love Harry's struggle and resolve in 7. I love these shows because the characters feel so real – mostly Bosch and Maddie, but also Lt. Billets and Chief Irving. I was saddened that they weren't shown more legacyAlthough I clearly understand why. season 2 legacy Wild was, and I think, overall, is, an improvement over Season 1. But that's why it makes me sad; Bosch There was seven years of time for improvement, and it really happened. Season 1 wasn't anything special or even that interesting at times, but there are points in seasons 6 and 7 where I almost cried. I felt despair during season 7, and I felt it when Bosch made his final decision. I will watch the Ballard series, and I can hardly argue with that. Bosch It's not time for it yet. But I'll miss it, and I think legacy He needed and deserved more time to shine.
