You mentioned that you wanted lighter colors and I completely agree with that idea. Light colors go together in a sunroom! In such a sun-filled room, you can make do with painting the walls a single color and still feel light. I’ve been loving light baby blues lately and Silver Mist or Blue Heather by Benjamin Moore are the perfect mix between feminine, masculine and timeless. Try one of them on walls, ceilings and trim and see how it looks.
If painting walls seems like too much of a commitment, try colorful window treatments instead. In general, when it comes to sunrooms I like more open windows so I rarely recommend full curtains. If you have screened windows, you can get away with no window coverings. Otherwise, light filtering café curtains, minimalist Roman curtains, or chic blinds These are the perfect delicate window coverings that add texture without working against the purpose of the sunroom.
