“They’re pirates!” confirmed Ford of the people in the photo above. “Space pirates.”

Left of center is Jaleel White, Steve Urkel family Mattersas Gunter. To the left of Gunter is Wayne Off The Mandalorian of Season 3 fame. This led to the creation of the original cast of Brutus (voiced by Fred Tatasciore and played by performance artist Stephen Ouyang), Pax (performance artist: Mike Estes), and Chalte (Orange is the New Black Dale Soules).

“We're kind of playing with that chaotic thing about the era we're in,” says Ford. “The Empire is gone, and so we're playing with that part of the galaxy where piracy has started up again.”

“People used to call Han Solo a pirate and he would say, ‘How dare you?’ And we’ve seen some great pirates in animated shows. So it was something where both [executive producers] Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau were really excited to do more pirate stuff.”

“I am also a big fan of this monkey IslandWatts says, “This is also classic Lucas. So somewhere in between Star Wars pirates and monkey Island Pirates. I think we've found our rightful place.”

This photo shows Jod Na'Vood (Jude Law), Kebby (Kiriana Crater), Wim (Ravi Cabot-Conyers), Fern (Ryan Kiera Armstrong) and Neil (Robert Timothy Smith). The kids are lost in space after discovering something on their ordinary-looking home world. They at least assume that Jod is a Jedi and join him.

“The great thing about working at Lucasfilm is that if you've stepped out of line they'll let you know,” says Watts. “Dave Filoni is our goalkeeper.”

“He’s a really great hockey player, but he’s also an iconic goalie. We’ll think about things we like, and then he’ll say, ‘Actually, maybe this is it.’ Or, ‘Oh, we’ve already done something like that somewhere else.’ And you always end up with a lot of other episodes like that. Star Wars Things to look at and read, and that's good. You feel like you can explore things creatively without making any major canonical mistakes.

Ford adds: “And he gets both sides of it because he did it [mentoring under] George Lucas. So he gets this idea of, 'I want to create a whole new kind of Jedi,' and then somebody says, 'OK, wait. A lot of people have thought about this. Let's do it the right way.' And that's very helpful.”

I don't think the photos are anything special, or surprising. We knew that Wayne would be back after surviving the destruction of the Gorion Shard. The Mandalorian Season 3And Jaleel White was also confirmed. We don't know anything about the other pirates, although that's good, maybe even refreshing. Star Wars There needs to be more new ideas and characters instead of rehashing (and disrespecting) the greats. The pictures don't look bad, though; it's just hard to understand anything without context. I love Jude Law, so whatever happens, I'm at least looking forward to seeing him Star Wars,

As for Ford and Watts' comments, I wish I felt more strongly, but I don't. I agree that what we've seen of the pirates is very little. Star Warsespecially The Clone WarsIt was really good. But considering the childish look and feel skeleton crewI don't believe these particular pirates. Finding a villain(s) other than the obvious ones like Palpatine and Jabba the Hutt is an interesting concept, but Disney keeps failing it. Look at Moff Gideon The Mandalorian and in strangers retainer; Disney/Lucasfilm has no idea how to handle these characters, even with a great actor in the role.
