Kyle Chandler is in talks to play Green Lantern
James Gunn and Peter Safran's DCU is slowly coming together – even though Gunn has incorporated many heroes into Superman – and today, another piece of the puzzle was revealed. Deadline exclusively reports that Kyle Chandler is “in talks” to play Green Lantern or one of them. The DCU will focus on the fact that several characters in DC Comics have been Green Lanterns (many if you count the entire Lantern Corps), and it will prominently feature at least three of them. I like this part of the casting. I'm glad to see him get a role like this, and it gives me hope that the DCU will cast some really interesting actors as superheroes and villains. (Remember when Marvel used to do that?)
